St. John’s Barge is delighted to announce it has recently welcomed two new Directors onto its board, Greg Toyn, and Joseph Larvin.
Joe Larvin said: “I joined St. John’s in 2010 to read Medicine. Though I played many sports at school, I had never rowed before coming to Oxford. In my first year I had success in the 1st Torpid and Eight and have continued to row in them, Captaining the club in my 3rd year. I had only heard tales of the Barge until it visited the Isis in 2013 and I then realised its importance both to the club’s past, present and future. I was therefore thrilled to be offered ‘directorship’ and hope to strengthen its links with the current generation of Oarsmen and women.”
